All instructors in the English as a Second Language Program have degrees and certificates which qualify them to teach English as a Second Language. They are sensitive to the first languages and cultures of their students and facilitate student assimilation and competition in the culturally pluralistic mainstream. All instructors offer years of experience in teaching English at all levels. Additionally, many English as a Second Language instructors have studied other languages, and most are bilingual.
